This is a very recent painting where I used a new color-Interference Blue. The photo does not do the color justice, it's a very iridescent blue with violet hints. It looks great in direct sunlight! This piece is oil on canvas, about 18 x 24 and has many layers, including a map under it all.

Sue, I LOVE! this piece. Interference blue is a favorite of mine. Much as I love it in sunlight, I might love it even more as the light changes and night falls. It's wonderful by lamp light.
